The Story

Mike has been humming a tune since he was a baby. Born in Quebec, Canada and adopted by American parents, Mike has always had a love for music. As a standout student/athlete at Northland H.S. in Columbus Ohio, he attended Virginia Tech on a baseball scholarship where he set NCAA records.

While at college he sang and played guitar at numerous functions and wrote and recorded the song "All Kinds of Love" which was used as the theme at the Easter Seals National Convention.

After graduation Mike returned home and joined the band "Ransom" that performed in the Columbus area. Mike's career was put on hold in 1987 when his first son was born, Eleven months later he was blessed with twins, boy and girl. As a dedicated father, Mike coached his children in multiple sports while working as an engineer for Rockwell International and continuing to play music when he could.

When his children went off to college Mike formed the band    " The Trains" in 2009. As founder and lead singer, "The Trains" brand of Rock and Soul music have performed over 1000 gigs in and around Ohio. His soulful lead vocals has been featured with the band.

From 2013 to 2015, Mike organized and held a benefit concert aptly named  "Bands For Love" to honor and help his friends that were battling breast cancer. Top acts from the area donated their time and talent to raise thousands of dollars to support the cause and a large donation was made to the Ohio State University Stephanie Spielman Fund.

As a solo artist, Mike has written and performed his own music as well as covering some of the most well know artists in the world.

Mike's love of music extends to his support of local artist as well. His greatest joy is being part of his musical community. He has performed with popular local band's  The Danger Brothers,  The Jack, Heindog & Stadz and Paradise Island to name a few.  He has also shared the stage with Legendary Ohio performers John Schwab, AJ Angelo, Brad Moore and Eric Soloman.
